Emblem Generator Profile: a machine produced for the translation of drawings into heraldic format. I collaborated with programmer Jonah McKay, to create a computer program that generates a series of heraldic crests and colour combinations based on drawings. On-board computers handle the emblem generating program and send the results as video to each projection surface at a rate of approximately 150 milliseconds. Results are saved to a growing database consisting of over 20,000 unique motifs, The optical illusion 'pepper's ghost' provides a mock hologram type experience when observing the generator viewports.
